The build out of the coffee shop is almost complete and we will have our soft opening in mid June. Coffee for Good has hired our supervisory team which is led by our new Manager Emma Comesana-Vila. Emma has been busy writing the training manual and checklists for our future trainees. Emma will be assisted by two Shift Leaders, David Thompson and Maggie Lam.
Our Employer Advisory Team has been established before our first trainees even start at Coffee for Good. Led by Helen Lobrano and Alan Gunzburg, they have developed an informative brochure, FAQs and have started meeting with possible future employers.
We are still actively fundraising to help us cover start up operations. Donations to our Wall of Thanks are still being accepted.
